A Sevres green-ground part tea-service
1761, blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter I, painter's script N for Aloncle and various incised marks
Each piece painted with exotic birds in trees and among shrubs within shaped oval and circular gilt ciselé cartouches with gilt zig-zag and scroll ornament, within gilt dentil rims, comprising:

An oviform teapot and cover (cover with minute chipping to foliage of finial and slight crack to inside flange)
A circular sugar-bowl and cover (finial broken and restuck, damage and restoration to foliage of finial, slight flaking to gilt rim of bowl)
A baluster cream-jug (pot à lait a trois pieds)
Six teacups and six saucers (two cups with rubbing to gilt dentil rim)

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
