A Very Rare Cased Pair Of 50-Bore Breech-Loading Flintlock Pistols On The La Chaumette System

With signed blued octagonal sighted barrels engraved with a line of beadwork at the breech and cut with eight grooves, gold-lined touch-holes, finely engraved tangs, signed stepped bevelled bright steel locks engraved with a flower on the tail, engraved blued safety-catches, blued top jaws and screws, cock-retaining screws and steel-springs (one cock replaced), finely figured walnut full stocks, bright steel mounts finely engraved with flowers and garlands, tutenag breech plugs, set triggers, and horn-tipped ramrods (blued finish refreshed): in contemporary lined and fitted case (wormed) covered in black leather and studded with brass tacks, with a bullet mould, the lid with carrying handle of Chippendale form
