Cf. a very similar example from the Grandidier Collection, illustrated by Moss, By Imperial Command, pl. 76, dated 1722-circa 1725 and also in Oriental Ceramics, The World's Great Collections, 1981, vol. 8, Musée Guimet, pl. 67; and another from the Bernat Collection, pl. 80, enamelled with mixed 'famille verte' and 'famille rose' palettes, and dated 1722-circa 1728. The marked contrast inherent in each palette is discussed extensively by Rosemary Scott and accounts for greater elaboration and detailed treatment in the 'rose' examples compared to the more 'banded' style of painting earlier; cf. Orientations, November 1986, pp. 22-35. Cf. also the example exhibited in the O.C.S. Exhibition Iron in the Fire at the Asmolean Museum, Oxford, 1988 and illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 94.
