A COPPER-RED 'PHOENIX' BOWL
DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted to the exterior with five roundels of phoenix, with wings spread wide, long feathers and head turned in profile, the interior with a further similar central medallion--5 3/4in. (14.7cm.)diam.
