Of rectangular shape decorated iro-e takamaki-e on a kinji ground with a red-crested crane wading amidst tall reeds in a stream, the reverse a continuation of the scene with two more cranes descending, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a cinnabar lacquer bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a dancer, signed Yoshiaki --3 7/8in. (8.6cm.) high
