Of oval section lacquered in gold, silver, black and red takamaki-e on a kinji ground with a storm dragon coiled amidst clouds, the reverse with a snarling tiger climbing over rocks in a rainstorm, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a peach pit ojime carved as a coiled dragon, signed Kozan, and an ivory manju netsuke, the soft-metal plate cast with Shoki clutching a struggling oni--3½in. (9cm.) high
