Maker's mark of Gorham, 1905/1906, kettle lacking symbol
Comprising: a tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, long-necked coffee pot, two-handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, George III style, each vase form with squared corners, on oval pedestal base, engraved two sides with shaped oblong cartouche within paired and pendant foliage, one initialled S, continuing onto shoulder, with bellflower to corners, the pots with high scroll spout, wood harp form handle, the hinged partly high domed cover topped by wood urn form finial--kettle on stand over fixed handle--12in. (30.4cm.) high, gross weight 91.5oz. (6)
