On stepped oval base with applied ormolu grape vine frieze beneath rope twist band, beading and floral swags to the waist, the lyre enhanced with border of beading, leafy scrolls and laurel boughs, surmounted by trophy of arms within floral wreath above rosettes and floral swag, white enamel dial painted with floral swags within arabic chapter ring, pierced gilt leafy scroll hands, the movement with anchor escapement, knife edge suspended gridiron pendulum forming a circle of brilliants enclosing the dial, rack striking the hour and half hour on bell French c. 1890 -- 52cm.
