In sizes, each of vase-shaped form on a spreading circular foot chased with a band of alternating darts and stylized foliage, the shoulder and rim with similar decoration, the stem applied with a rope-twist band, the scroll spout with palmettes and terminating in an animal head, the sweeping wood handle issuing from a lion's mask and foliate socket, the cover with swan finial, each marked on base and with later French control marks--height of larger coffeepot 13 3/4in.
