Worked in green, brown, yellow, red, blue, black silk threads on a linen ground, with a central medallion inscribed "Hannah Parry's in the tenth year of her age 1828" encircled by a floral wreath surmounted by a pair of doves flanked by a pair of roses, a further pair of butterflies and finally a floral basket all above a red-brick Georgian house flanked by trees and grazing sheep in the foreground (all enclosed by a meandering three-quarter vine--21 x 13¼ in.
