A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER SUGAR BASKET AND CREAM JUG, Dublin, the first 1801, maker's mark of Daniel Egan, the cream jug 1799, apparently that of Randall Cashell, the boat shaped basket with panelled ends, on stemmed shaped oval raised foot with bright cut engraved band, two sides engraved with shield shaped vacant cartouche within finely reeded and punched ground flanked by bright cut floral surround, the shoulder with molded band of stylized double flowerhead within matted ground, with applied reeded rim and rib applied, panelled overhead swing handle--height over handle 8¼in. (20.9cm.), the fluted cornered vase form cream jug on short stemmed oval foot, engraved and bright cut engraved with two shields below paterae and foliate band, with shaped rim and upswept handle--6¾in. (17.1cm.) high, 15.5oz. (2)
