A KO-GOTO SCHOOL TSUBA
MOMOYAMA PERIOD (1573-1600)

The round shakudo nanako plate is carved in low relief with a design of cabbage peony blooms, tendrils, and small leaves. The blooms and leaves are covered in gold uttori overlay--height 7.9cm., width 7.7cm., thickness 4.5mm.

Accompanied by a tokubetsu kicho certificate issued by the N.B.T.H.K., no. 138, dated April 15, 1971.
