Circular, pierced and chased with leafy scrolls and flower heads, probably German, last quarter 16th century for a striking watch, the large oignon movement (possibly purpose-made for the case) with signed Fiacre Clement à Paris, later engraved with spurious date, egyptian pillars, large bridge cock chased with scrolls and monsters, chased gilt dial with enamel roman chapters on white reserves, single later blued steel hand, early 18th century -- 59.5mm diam.
