The verge movement with Egyptian pillars, pierced cock and back plate furniture engraved with leafy scrolls, alarm train with scroll engraved barrel (lacking stopwork), steel contrate and crown wheel, gilt dial with roman chapter ring enclosing alarm setting disc, the band of the inner case pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage, the outer case similarly pierced and engraved, first quarter 18th century -- 58mm diam.
