Of shaped oval form, the borders bright-cut engraved with bands of stylized foliage within roulettework enclosing, on each side, a vacant invected rectangular cartouche with similar decoration, with tapering straight spout and wood scroll handle, the hinged domed cover with conforming decoration and surmounted by a stained bone pineapple finial, marked under base and on cover--11in. long
