The ovoid body decorated with groups of boys at play in a continuous landscape, between a band of petal lappets below and a border of bats above as if suspended from a band of detached geometric 'S' scrolls, the waisted neck decorated with a dense pattern of lotus scroll incorporating pendent twin fish on two sides, all below an everted ruyi-head collar encircling the gilded mouth rim, the interior and the base in turquoise enamel, restored rim chips--11 1/8 in. (28.2cm.) high
