Baluster-form, on a molded circular foot, with a bead-molded rim and a double-scroll handle with an acanthus grip, engraved with demi-lion rampant crest, marked REVERE near rim--5 3/4in. high

According to tradition, the crest is that of Phillips, as borne by Samuel and John Phillips, founders of the Academies at Exeter and Andover, Massachusetts
