The wide, shallow bowl resting on a wide, ring foot, well carved on the exterior with overlapping lotus petals, each incised for further definition, below a narrow band of fretwork, additionally incised on the interior in the cavetto with a single line, covered overall with a light green celadon glaze with sparse, large crackle- 6 1/2 in. (16.6 cm.) diameter, glaze chip and hairline crack
