AN INCISED CELADON BOWL
KORYO DYNASTY (FIRST HALF 12TH CENTURY)

The deep, round bowl rising from a a high ring foot enclosing a shallow recessed base incised on the interior with three parrots, each with open beak and long, streaming tail feathers, interspersed with five swirling clouds, the recessed well further incised with foliage, a single line incised below the rim, covered overall with a smooth and even light green celadon glaze pooling slightly emerald in the well and above the foot- 6 3/4 in. (17.3 cm.) diameter
