CHOSON DYNASTY (15TH-16TH CENTURY)

The flattened, cylindrical stoneware body set on a raised ring foot and with sharply angled shoulders sloping to a short neck with everted rim, decorated with brush-applied white slip carved in sgraffito style to reveal the darker body below, with four panels depicting leafing and flowering plants in the mid-section and the shoulders with a stylized leaf design, finished with a clear, green-tinged, crackled glaze--9in. (22.8cm.) high, 6in. (15.2cm.) diameter, spout damaged and with lacquer restoration
