Comprising four plates, two soup plates, one teacup and saucer, one wastebowl, one creamer and one teapot: the plates, variously marked from the manufactories of Stubbs Longport, Adam, Clews and Phillips Longport, each with different floral and foliate border, two with central fruit patterns, three centering pastoral scenes, and one centering tiger lilies; the teacup and saucer, marked Stubbs Longport, with acanthus leaves surrounding a floating swan; the unmarked wastebowl with mourning scenes dedicated to Benjamin Franklin; the creamer unmarked with ribbed body on lozenge shaped foot, the whole with floral and foliate borders above and below centering a repeating Romantic architectural landscape; the teapot of double baluster form with domed lid, C-scroll handle and serpentine spout, decorated with floral and foliate borders above and below centering a repeating allegorical scene--10½in. diam. the largest plate, the teapot 11½ in. high, 10½in. wide handle to spout
