A STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZE LOZENGE-SHAPED TEAPOT AND COVER
CIRCA 1745
With fantastic animal finial, scroll spout and notched loop handle, the four sides moulded with birds perched in flowering branches enriched with cobalt centering shells above a conforming flaring base splashed with blue, Jacobs Collection no. 407--5½in. (14cm.) high
