A STAFFORDSHIRE WHITE SALTGLAZE CAMEL TEAPOT AND COVER
CIRCA 1750

Modelled as a recumbent camel, his head as the spout, with a howdah on its back moulded with Chinese pavilions and figures in panels, the flat strap handle moulded with leaves, the panelled dome cover attached to the handle with a metal chain mount, Jacobs Collection no. 656--6in. (15cm.) high
