After the Second World War the Daimler factory re-opened with a simplified range of cars. The private sector of the market was catered for by the DB18, a developed and upgraded verion of the 15hp. The DB18 chassis provided a sound and reasonably sporting basis for development and variations of all models, some from the factory and some from coachbuilders, appeared in profusion. The drophead coupes by Barker and Tickford were most desirable along with the revised saloon called the Consort.

This Consort is described as being in good, original condition. The interior wood trim and seats appear to be very tidy and the paintwork carries its age well. There is a current MoT.
