A POLISH SILVER AND BRASS TORAH CROWN
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
In the form of an openwork crown, the circular base applied with pierced silver rocaille, surmounted by figures of birds alternating with cast brass lions each above a glass circular stone and supporting the upper crown hung with silver bells and engraved with a Hebrew inscription, the pierced crest with a gallery of birds centering a brass ball and bud finial, apparently unmarked, and with museum accession number F268--9 1/2 in. (24.1 cm.) high
