A SÈVRES BLUE-GROUND CUP AND SAUCER reserved with oval gilt-edged medallions painted in schwarzlot with landscape vignettes between gilt scrolling foliage, the borders painted in purple camaieu with figures an d buildings in continuous landscapes within gilt dentil rims, the cup with anthemion and strap handle (very minor scratching to saucer), blue Sevres/R-F mark, unidentified painter's mark and gilder's mark LG for Le Guay, incised 46 and 18 to cup and 46 to saucer, circa 1795
