The fuchi kashira comprising: four pairs of polished shibuichi plate, one with a design of Raiden and Fuden, (circa 1850), signed Masatoshi; another with a farmhouse on a stone- ground, (circa 1750); another with deer and maple leaves on a polished ground, (circa 1750); another with a rat, cat, and scroll design on a polished ground (with Yasuchika-style kao), (circa 1700); a shakudo nanako pair with a samurai in gold and silver high relief, (circa 1800); a shibuichi nanako pair with fish in gold and shakudo, signed Okamura Sokan (Hide or Yoshinobu); three copper pairs, one with deep waves (in Omori Teruhide style) and silver dots, (circa 1850), signed Bijo; a stone-ground pair with plum flowers in silver and shakudo, (circa 1750), signed Minamoto Mototsune and kao (unrecorded artist); a file-surface pair with shakudo and gold crabs, (circa 1650); a brass plate pair with an acid-etched design of mon, (circa 1750) (12)
