The kozuka comprising: a polished shibuichi plate carved in katakiri with a Nio, (Yokoya school, circa 1850), signed Kiryusai Sochi and kao; a polished shibuichi plate carved with a sage on horseback inlaid in gold, silver, and shakudo, (circa 1750); a silvered shibuichi plate carved with raised bamboo branches, (circa 1800); a shakudo nanako plate with a wood frame, carved with insects, and spring flowers in gold, copper, silver, and shakudo, (circa 1750); an iron plate inlaid in high relief with a cricket in silver, gold and brass, (Higo style, circa 1700); a copper, stone-surface plate inlaid with a shakudo and gold flower, (circa 1750); two shibuichi plates with a flush inlay design of the moon and grass, (silvered style, circa 1775); two iron plates, one with a design of the moon and pine, the other with a bee and an inscription, (circa 1750); five shiiremono (repousse) examples, (circa 1850) (15)
