Comprising a coffee pot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug; each vase-shaped on spreading circular base engraved with bands of stylized foliage within geometric decoration forming a cartouche enclosing a monogram, the scroll handles chased with stylized flowers, the pot with ivory insulators and similarly chased spout, the domed covers surmounted by stylized double scrolls, the pot engraved with the date Nov. 17, 1870 within ivy sprigs and foliate scrolls, each marked with factory number 212, two pieces with Whiting mark--height of coffee pot 11½in.
