A SIX-PIECE SILVER CHRYSANTHEMUM-PATTERN TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY OF HISTORICAL INTEREST
MAKER'S MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, 1902-1907

Comprising a hot water kettle on stand with burner, coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each of globular form with reeding and raised on four leaf-clad paw feet, the wavy rim, handles and spouts applied with chrysanthemums and leaves, the pot handles with ivory insulators, the kettle stand heavily applied with chrysanthemums, the hinged domed covers surmounted by a chrysanthemum flowerhead, each engraved with an elaborate script monogram ERW; the tray rounded rectangular, the rim and handles with chrysanthemums and leaves, the field engraved with scrolling chrysanthemums, with a bracket cartouche enclosing a presentation inscription, each marked under base--height of kettle on stand 13½in., length over handles 28½in.
