Globular, chased at the shoulder with rocaille and trelliswork, the hinged cover with wood bead finial, with overhead raffia covered swing handle, the stand with pierced rocaille scroll apron with classical profile busts, raised on three leaf-clad scroll legs, with circular lamp and cover, the side engraved with a coat-of-arms within foliate scroll and fishscale mantling with a female mask below, the triangular salver on three scroll feet with foliate scroll border, the field chased with rocaille and trelliswork, the center engraved with the same arms, the lamp and cover engraved with a crest, marked under base, on cover, lamp and cover, and salver--height of kettle 12½in.(31.6cm.), length of salver 9¾in.(24.7cm.)
