(Margins at head and foot occasionally cropped touching headline or signature.) 19th-century green morocco, covers gilt with ornate centrepiece and cornerpieces within fillet border, spine gilt in compartments, by Riviere, edges gilt.

FIRST EDITION of Wither's translation of the Psalms, printed in Holland and dedicated to the Queen of Bohemia, his early patroness. STC 2735; Grolier Wither to Prior 1037.
