THE TEAPOT MAKER'S MARK OF JONES, SHREVE, BROWN & CO., THE CREAM JUG AND SUGAR BOWL MAKER'S MARK OF JONES, BALL & CO., BOSTON,
Comprising teapot, covered cream jug and covered sugar bowl; each baluster on spreading rim foot, the body elaborately repousse and chased with Chinese figures and pagodas in an exotic landscape on a matted ground, enclosing on one side an oval cartouche engraved with a monogram, below a band of stylized foliage, the handles formed as foliate vines, the domed cover scalloped and with lobed foliate panels, the finials formed as various putti amid foliage, each marked--height of teapot 8 1/4in.
