the frost gilt three-quarter plate movement with bimetallic balance, lever escapement, blued steel hairspring with endcurves, diamond endstone, micrometer regulation, jewelled to the centre with screwed chatons, Nicole Nielsen winding system, the split second chronograph work mounted on the top plate, under cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute divisions, subsidiary dials for running seconds and elapsed minutes, blued steel spade hands, two sweep centre seconds operated by depressing the crown and a second button in the band, in plain case with engraved monogram to the reverse, hallmarked London 1887, dial and movement signed, dial, movement and case numbered - 53mm. diam.
