Rectangular white enamel box, all sides painted in purple camaïeu, the bottom and walls representing landscapes and scenes with putti, the cover depicting a mythological scene with two semi-nude girls next to a statue of Hercules, the inside of the cover finely painted with Apollo seducing a maiden of Minerva in an interior, the gilt-metal mounts engraved with wavy reeding -- 8.7 cm wide
