FOLLOWER OF FRANÇOIS DUMONT, circa 1785/1790
Mr de Consié of Arras, bust-length slightly to sinister, with grey-powdered curled hair, wearing a cream-coloured coat over a white shirt with frilled lace cravat -- 4 cm diam., on a fair hair base within a rectangular gold frame with églomisé decoration and blue silk reverse, suspended from a quadruple chain; together with a boy wearing a brown coat in the fashion of the French Revolution, signed Pirote, circa 1880 -- 5 cm diam., gilt-metal mount within a rectangular ebonized wood frame (2)
