A GEORGE III STYLE GOLD AND AGATE SCENT BOTTLE

Reddish agate scent bottle, the body boldly carved with a boy pulling a goat's horn, surrounded by grapes, the base opening with a circular hinged lid applied with a gold cagework depicting putti, the top set with a scrolling gold stopper attached to the base with a gold chain fixed to a scrolling gold mount adorned with a white enamel band inscribed Pensez à moi -- 103 mm high.
