MOSAÏQUE BINDING BY RENÉ KIEFFER of straight-grained fawn morocco with gilt-tooled centre lozenge containing blue, red and green onlays in shape of a stained-glass oriel window, within a surround of gilt-tooled gothic architecture with compartments of blue, red, black and pink onlays, spine with similar tooling; crimson morocco doublures blocked in gold with a design by De Beaumont and Steinheil illustrating characters of the novel, taken from the original printed paper wrappers, pale blue silk liners and marbled free endpapers, edges gilt. In half morocco chemise and slipcase.
