Engine: six cylinder, overhead camshaft, 2,468cc, 21hp; Gearbox: 4 speed syncromesh; Brakes: 4 wheel drum; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs front and rear. Right hand drive.

A significant phase in Morris development was the introduction of the neat overhead camshaft Minor in 1928. This was the starting point of a whole new family of models and in its standard and family versions the 8hp Minor together with its derivative, the Ten, were best sellers.
The company however maintained an interest in large cars with variations of the Oxford, Major and Isis. The Isis engine was a large 6 cylinder overhead camshaft unit of 2,468cc which propelled the cars to a speed of over 60mph.

This Isis has been in the same ownership for over 30 years and is in beautiful original condition throughout. It carries its original factory "Sports Coupe" coachwork which is probably the most desirable of all body styles to grace the Isis chassis. The body frame is good and strong and the doors fit and close well. The interior of the car still retains its original green leather, original carpets and original headlining, all of which is in very good condition. The top appears to retain its original rexine and original sunroof (in good working order) and the paintwork is in excellent all round condition. The engine was in very good running order in 1990, although the car has been dry stored since then so a small amount of re-commissioning prior to use may prove to be necessary.

A lovely example of one of the most desirable Morris models of the 1930's.
