The centre with a scantily clad cherub holding the scales of justice within a green-ground chased gilt rectangular cartouche outlined with four formal scroll motifs, the ground with scattered gilt stars within a border of gilt flowerhead and loop ornament, the rim pierced with key-pattern and paterae within chased gilt bands, signed, gilt printed marks and pattern number AS G6436, impressed marks
9½in. (24cm.) diam.
