FIRST EDITION of the complete set of the Summa theologica. Koberger printed a broadside to advertise the Summa, in which he detailed its contents and recited the great authors in each area of knowledge contained within: Plato and Aristotle in natural philosophy, Seneca in moral philosophy, Homer and Virgil in poetry, Demosthenes and Cicero in rhetoric. Koberger first issued Johannes Molitoris's Tabula to accompany his 1486 edition, which was printed on Royal paper. The very fine Gothic bindings show their unrecorded stamps in extremely sharp impression, and internally too the book is in fresh condition.
