The baluster body painted in ochre, green and manganese with a basket of flowers within an oval medallion surmounted by a blue bow, flanked by flower-sprays and foliage, the slightly flared cylindrical neck with flowering foliage about ochre vertical lines and between green dash lines, the hinged pewter cover with shell thumbpiece (crack to footrim extending into body, repaired area and chips to footrim and restored chip to lower part of handle), manganese FFf mark
