Regarding medecine and pharmacology, the first part dealing with simple herbs and ingredients in alphabetical order, the second with 'compounds', Persian manuscript on pale blue paper, 212ff. as numbered plus seven flyleaves, in two sections, each with 22ll. of black naskh or nasta'liq, words in red, red ruled margin, copiously illustrated with small gouache pictures of plants and animals, (incomplete at start and end, damages and repairs, light smudging and staining), colophon at end of first section signed by Hasan Beg b. (al-Marhoum) Hajji Lutfallah Yazdi, known as Qassab (lower half of folio replaced), red morocco binding with stamped medallion and pendants (worn and repaired), morocco doublures
