Regarding the exposition of theoretical Sufism in the light of the Qur'an, Persian and Arabic manuscript on gold-sprinkled buff paper, 398ff. as numbered plus four flyleaves, each with 17ll. of strong black nasta'liq, occasional words or phrases in gold, red, blue or orange, with red, blue, green and gold margins between black rules, blue outer rule, occasional marginal notes in black or red, (negligible, worming, smudging and spotting, waterstaining to margins not affecting text, occasional small repairs), opening folio with gold and polychrome finely illuminated shamsa, following bifolio with similar illumination, (very slight flaking, fading and waterstaining), final folio with colophon signed by Muhammad Salih b. Muhammad Baqi al-Turkistani and dated 993 in Bukhara (margins splitting, waterstained), cloth covered boards
