With long barrel with moulded turns at the muzzle and breech and rifled with pairs of spiral grooves, engraved octagonal breech becoming polygonal (engraving worn), engraved tang, lock with chiselled foliate details, moulded highly figured rootwood half-stock, and iron mounts comprising trigger-guard, and spurred pommel retaining traces of gilding (areas of light pitting)
