With signed rebrowned twist sighted barrels, recessed patent breeches each with back-sight, four platinum lines and platinum-lined touch-hole, scroll engraved tangs, signed engraved detented locks engraved 'Patent 2667' and 'Patent 2668' respectively, and fitted with safety-catch (one incomplete), roller, and swept rainproof pan (one chipped), Patent steels engraved 'Patent Self Primer 2667' and 'Patent Self Primer 2668' respectively, and engraved flat cocks, slender figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheons, fore-end caps and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and horn-tipped ramrods: in original fitted mahogany case lined in blue velvet with accessories including two-way flask covered in red leather, the lid with trade label and flush-fitting carrying handle (wood chipped around the lock), London proof marks
