Lot Essay

Brodsworth Hall was built circa 1850 in the Italianate style, it is reputed to have been designed by the 'Cavaliere Casentini' of Lucca.
The present great house at Brodsworth, recently restored and opened to the public, was built 1861-63, replacing the big Georgian mansion which was totally demolished.
