Lieutenant Andrew Joseph McCarthy, M.B.E. served on detachment to No. 2 Wireless Company, "A" Corps Signals during operations in Waziristan, 1919-21 (shown as inelligible for the "Waziristan 1919-21" clasp).
A total of five "Iraq" and three "N.W. Persia" clasps to the Regiment. Lieutenant McCarthy is the only officer from the Regiment to receive both clasps.
