Title, dedication to 'Principe Francesco [Maria de Medici] Ma: di Toscana' and 47 plates only (of 48), all by Mitelli, extra-illustrated with a cut-down mounted plate at the end. (Lacks plate number 27, old repairs to title and plate 7, tear to plate 31, some browning.) Old limp vellum (somewhat soiled).
RARE. The last copy at auction appears to have been in 1981 in our New York rooms: this copy included plate 27 but not the dedication plate. Brunet III.1777 (with no mention of the dedication, 'Ces figures, faites avec une grande facilité et beaucoup de goût, sont rares.'); Bartsch 42. 67-94; 96-116.
