Three more extended versions of this view are known, one by Brill in the Louvre and two drawings by Breenbergh (M. Roethlisberger, Bartholomeus Breenbergh Handzeichnungen, Berlin, 1969, nos. 33-5); no. 34, in the Albertina, is dated circa 1625 by Roethlisberger. It is similar in technique to the present example which appears from the fold to have been cut by roughly 185mm. on the left. The view has tentatively been identified as near Bracciano.
